Quilting Group
Our quilting group is meeting in Fellowship
Hall every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. There will be one meeting a month dedicated
to learning a new skill or technique. If there is a topic or technique you are
especially interested in, please let the group know. Please join us if you are
interested in creating a quilt project, continue working on a project, or
working on a group project using quilting both by hand or by machine. Bring a
project, a friend or both. A $5.00 per month donation per person towards
supplies and program fund is requested. The group is also investigating becoming
a guild member through the American Quilter's Society in Pducah, KY. If you are
interested in more information, please call the church office at 727-391-2919.
Chapel Shepherds
The Chapel Shepherd's Ministry mission is to "Demonstrate God's love
through service". We have many service groups you may become a part of:
Support Groups, providing fellowship; Care Callers, checking on members of the
congregation by phone to ask about any joys or concerns; Drivers, to deliver
special cards and small gifts to local hospitals, and the Breaking Bread
Ministry Team, who are trained to give the Sacrament of Holy
Communion to people who are home bound. There are no set time requirements,
your schedule determines your availability. Our meetings are held in the
Conference Room at 10:00 am on the second Tuesday of each month.
Prayer Chain
Are you aware that we have a prayer chain? If you or someone you know need
prayers for any reason, just phone the office and it will be activated
immediately. The prayer chain is there for you, so do not hesitate to call.
Food Pantry Days
Please remember that the first Sunday of each month is not only
Communion, but also Food Pantry Day. Bring in your food items and place them
in the basket in the narthex.
